Rock Drakes destroying Crop Plots

Hi,

Our tribe is having issues with Rock Drakes destroying plant Z plots on our roof. Has anyone else had this issue or found a way to avoid it? Would like to add some plant X up there for defense but it isn't worth the trouble if drakes are going to routinely wipe out the plots.

Please help.
